How to create and restore backups

Creating and Restoring Backups

Creating a Backup:

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Files > Backup
3. Choose Full Backup (entire account) or Partial Backup (specific sections)
4. For full backup: select destination, enter email, click Generate Backup
5. Download the backup file when ready

Restoring a Backup:

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Go to Files > Backup
3. Scroll to Restore a Home Directory Backup
4. Choose the backup file or upload one
5. Click Restore

For database restoration, use phpMyAdmin or the Backup > Restore MySQL Database option.

Important: Always download backups to your local computer. Do not rely solely on server-side backups.
