How to check disk usage in cPanel

Checking Disk Usage

To see how much disk space you are using:

1. Log in to cPanel
2. Look at the Statistics panel on the right sidebar
3. You will see:
   • Disk Usage - Total space used vs your quota
   • Bandwidth - Current month's bandwidth usage
   • Email Accounts - Number of accounts vs limit

For a detailed breakdown:

1. Go to Files > Disk Usage
2. You will see a directory-by-directory breakdown
3. Sort by size to find what is using the most space

Tips to free up space:

• Delete old backup files from your home directory
• Remove unused email accounts or reduce email quotas
• Delete old log files in the logs directory
• Empty the trash in File Manager
