Pointing Your Domain to Our Nameservers
To point your domain to Dixie Networks hosting:
- Log in to your domain registrar (where you registered your domain)
- Find the DNS or Nameserver settings
- Replace the existing nameservers with ours:
- ns1.dixienetworks.com
- ns2.dixienetworks.com
- Save the changes
Propagation time: 12-48 hours for the changes to take effect globally. You can check propagation using the DNS Propagation Checker tool in the client portal.
Important: Do not change nameservers if you are only using our email services. Changing nameservers affects your website, email, and all DNS records for the domain.
For our security best practices, we do not disclose the specific infrastructure provider names. If your current registrar asks for the server host name, provide the nameservers above.
