Transferring a Domain to Dixie Networks
To transfer a domain from another registrar:
- Unlock your domain at your current registrar
- Get the EPP/Auth Code (also called transfer key) from your current registrar
- Log in to billing.dixienetworks.com
- Go to Order New Services > Domain Transfer
- Enter your domain name and the EPP code
- Complete the payment ($20.00 for .com domains, includes 1 year renewal)
- Check your email for a transfer approval request
- Click the link in the email to approve the transfer
Transfer timeline: 5-7 days after approval. The gaining registrar (Dixie Networks) initiates the transfer and the losing registrar has 5 days to release it.
Note: Domains must be at least 60 days old before they can be transferred. Some registrars lock domains for 60 days after registration, renewal, or WHOIS changes.
