Managing DNS Zones in cPanel

To edit your DNS records:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Go to Domains > Zone Editor
  3. Find your domain and click Manage
  4. You will see a list of DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)
  5. Click + Add Record to create a new record
  6. Edit existing records by clicking the Edit button
  7. Click Save when done

Common record types:

  • A Record - Points a domain to an IPv4 address
  • AAAA Record - Points a domain to an IPv6 address
  • CNAME - Alias from one name to another
  • MX Record - Directs email to your mail server
  • TXT Record - Used for SPF, DKIM, domain verification

Note: DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate globally.
