Setting Up FTP Access

To create an FTP account:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Go to Files > FTP Accounts
  3. Enter a username and password
  4. Set the directory access (default is your public_html)
  5. Set the quota (or leave unlimited)
  6. Click Create FTP Account

FTP Connection Settings:

  • Host: ftp.yourdomain.com
  • Username: username@yourdomain.com
  • Password: the password you created
  • Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP)
  • Encryption: Use FTP over TLS if available

Recommended FTP clients: FileZilla, WinSCP, or Cyberduck.
